As a child, Jay Pitman was always intrigued by the way things worked. A curiosity of the components in various toys and trinkets and his love for hands on work enabled Jay to mold an interest in engineering. He would take things apart, study the interworking of the mechanics, and then put it all back together. Later he realized he could make a living off of his interest by fixing home appliances efficiently and affordable for friends and family. Now, with 34 years of experience, and 24 years in the Athens location, Jay shows no signs of slowing down. He provides top rated repair service that is unmatchable in the area.

Jay’s Appliance has been in the same location in Athens, Alabama for 24 years. Our address is 805 North Jefferson Street, only a few blocks off of US Hwy 31, and US Hwy 72.
